Well, this week wasn't exactly successful. But, I like to think I took some great restful days to fully recoup from shin splints. I think. With school being done this week, I hope that I will be able to be get back into my routine this coming week, before graduate school starts. Hopefully.

Better than me with the running, for the past 3 weeks it has rained 6 out of 7 days every week. Not all day long either, usually it starts right before the parents get home, so in other words, right as I am about to run. So I have averaged 1 run a week, sad. This week looks nice, but I am getting my haircut on Wed. and I will be travelling starting Fri. night, so that leaves 3 days. Better than one.

Shin splints?! Yikes. Those are painful. Take it easy. Especially if you've got grad school classes right around the corner. You'll want to get a leg up on the rest of the class (snarf. snarf.)

I hate to break this to you all...but I didn't run 5 miles straight last week. It was two sessions of 2.5 miles...pretty pathetic. Sorry Dad! Don't rush into training..you are still far ahead of me!
