For the record, I was NOT intoxicated when I went for my run monday night. AND, that is NOT why I almost biffed it! Hehehe.
Last night, Sis and I went for a run at 5pm, shortly after I got home from school. Let's just say running in 82 degrees probably wasn't the smartest thing. But, you live and learn. I couldn't get into the groove of things, but we did it. What I struggled with the most was a dry mouth. For some reason, I had such a dry mouth that it was even a struggle to swallow! We ended up logging 3.32 miles. Atleast there was a slight breeze and minimal humidity.
We had a big dinner, watched American Idol (I wasn't too impressed ... I'm thinking it is time for Lakisha to pack her things), and then we went and played 3 on 3 volleyball. Boy, how I miss our days of volleyball. Another thing I am going to miss this summer. Sniff sniff.
From there, I went home to watch the end of the Twins game. The piranha's pulled it off again and Morneau closed the game with an upper deck home run! Dang, he is good!
And... the Suns beat the Spurs... Nice! 101-81... Gotta love the Nash-meister!
I love this time of year. Things are slowing down with school, NBA playoffs have begun, baseball is in full-swing (no pun intended), the temperature is rising!! Gotta love it!
Tonight, there is a going away party for a teacher. I call a rest day. Happy running y'all!
